Crowbar Collective, the creators behind the fan-favorite Half-Life remake Black Mesa, have teamed up with Team17 Digital to bring gamers Rogue Point, a new rogue-lite, tactical co-op shooter. With an innovative twist on strategic combat, this first person-shooter invites players to form elite vigilante squads to challenge corporate warfare.
In Rogue Point, the richest man in the world is dead, sparking chaos as competing conglomerates vie to claim his empire. Players step in as part of Rogue Point, a high-risk, independent squad tasked with taking down the ruthless corporate armies ordered via the MERX app—a fictional service that allows CEOs to summon mercenary forces as easily as ordering takeout.

With for up to four players, this shooter blends high-stakes missions with rogue-lite mechanics, offering extensive customization through unlockable cosmetics, weapons, and campaign modifiers. Every playthrough is unique, with dynamic map designs that adapt each time, thanks to the game’s Parametric Design System. Different MERX classes present new and surprising challenges, requiring players to adapt strategies on the fly and evolve their operators’ skills for ultimate survival.
Ann Hurley, General Manager of Team17 Digital, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Team17 has had amazing success in the shooter genre, and we’re thrilled to team up with Crowbar Collective. We know Rogue Point will push things to the next level.”

Crowbar Collective’s CEO Adam Engels added, “Partnering with Team17 for Rogue Point has been fantastic. Just like with Black Mesa, we want to heavily involve the community in development, and Team17’s allows us to focus on that.”
Rogue Point promises an adrenaline-fueled co-op experience with new content, surprises, and countless ways to tackle its mission-based combat. For updates, follow Crowbar Collective on social media as they share development insights and community events leading up to launch.
